Yesterday.

No photos because something went wrong with wifi and we lost yesterays post.  The short story is we got our flight from Paris to Biarritz and then bussed to Bayonne where we got the train to St Jean Peid de Port.  It was a lovely train ride on the mountain train which followed a fast flowing river called the Nive.  We even saw people white water rafting at one point. Conce we arrived at St Jean we had about a 500 mtr walk to the Pilgrims office where we got registered as pilgrims and received our pilgrims passport  (Fuzz keeps saying pilgrim like John Waynne) We need to get this passport stamped each day as proof of our journey so we can be issued our Compostella which is a certificate  we get when we have reached the end of our Jouney in Santiago de Compostella.  That is  800km away yet though......

  1. HaHa, can imagine Fuzz saying that. No horse to ride the 800kms, you guys have to hoof it yourself. All the best with the walk.
