Today we walked 23 km. We started a bit earlier today and found breakfast along the way. A nice frittata and it actually had a bit of zuccini in it so I finally got some vegetables. I was hoping to get some in Pamplona last night but we were there on 'Pinchos' night or something because that was all you could get. Fuzz loved it. He was in his element. Dare I say I had to drag him home at 10pm? We didn't get the sleep we would have liked because Pamplona got busier and louder and until finally everyone gave up and went home at 3.30am. Not a place for the feint hearted.
The terrain wasn't too bad today. Some climbs and a long steep down hill. I gave the walking boots a rest for the first part of the day and used my Nike Free. Wow it was like walking in slippers and so nice. The path was still a bit rocky but they were smooth rocks unlike the last few days. It was a bit cooler today as well so a really good day. We climbed up to the wind turbines. There are so many of then following the ridges near Pamplona. It is quite a sight. There is a series of bronze sculptures of pilgrims there that was prominent in the movie 'The Way'. It seemed funny to actually be there ourselves. Finally we are here.
Well I am still on my quest to eat some veggies so I am hoping tonights dinner hits the spot.
